“Gaza Rocket Hits Parking Lot”

This morning, on the 22nd day of a war that has become a series of massacres, first against Israelis, then, repeatedly, against Gazans, who are being killed by the thousands, we learn, from the pages of Haaretz, what we needed to know: a Gaza rocket hits a “Parking Lot.”

The scenes from Gaza loop as a repetition of horror: life undone, families massacred, children dying.

Missiles rain down on apartments, hospitals, schools. On life itself. No life is possible in Gaza, currently. It’s being cut off, systematically and purposefully.

The missiles falling on Gaza by the minute, by the hour, destroy entire buildings, entire city blocks, entire neighborhoods.

Here is what we need to know about the “rockets” hitting Israel: they might harm a parking lot.
