The paper trail of torture

This is what it looks like when a falling regime tries to hide the paper traces of its local Gestapo. When protestors in Egypt broke in the front doors of the hated police spy facilities, this is what they found, the results of a frenzied night of evidence-destruction:

Let us recall with this image two important things. First, that Egypt under Mubarak was a torture regime.

Secondly, let us remember that the United States has supported and funded the Mubarak regime for years, to the tune of billions of dollars in cash and military equipment. (here and here)
